However, memes manage to get people talking about new releases and can even turn the movie itself into a meme. They may also confuse producers so much that they try to cash in on it, as was the case with Morbius.

Although it might seem that by this time all the fish would be sold, it is not so. The premiere of Avatar 2 continues to go strong and it does not stop climbing positions in the top 10. Sonic 2 has been the best-grossing film based on a video game in the United States. Sonic The Hedgehog memes have been a regular since its premiere. The fast-blue hedgehog (who originally was going to be a rabbit) has starred in many memes this year, being one of the most popular this year in the Spanish version of Memedroid.

The Secrets of Dumbledore has gone unnoticed. Despite its box office, not even good memes of the movie have come out. Without a doubt, one of the worst movies on this list in terms of the world of memes. Sad news for fans of Harry Potter memes.

The fourth solo Thor movie has failed to captivate like Thor Ragnarok did. Although the film has been criticized for its easy humor, the memes shared in Memedroid have been quite good. After all, so much stupidity in a movie has given good ideas to translate into memes.

The Batman has been for many the best movie of 2022. A masterpiece that, in addition to being a great story with a new Batman, has some exquisite memes. The lord of the night has returned.

The scary Doctor Strange movie with Wanda as the main villain is the highest grossing Marvel movie of 2022. Doctor Strange always brings inspiration to the creators and this time high-quality memes of this movie have been shared.

#3 – Jurassic World Dominion - $1,001.1M

Dominion concludes the Jurassic World saga by bringing back the mythical characters of the original story and manages to enter the top 3. And they can be thankful, the movie has managed to fill the theaters with nostalgia, but it didn’t feel the hearts of the fans.

#2 –Avatar 2 - $1,030M (Till December 29th)

Avatar 2, the last to be released in this top 10, continues to advance positions and is expected to surpass the highest grossing film in this ranking.
