  I had a similar problem with a copy of GTA San Andreas, i ended up buying a procare CD repairing machine for £54. They do actually work, but i had to spend basically an hour repairing the disc because it was that knackered. It plays now though As optical media becomes more scarce having such a machine to preserve it is wise.

Often hard decisions have to be taken, and some men and women are really bad at this, but women have a propensity to struggle more with these decisions.   I think a lot of people on the left and on the right don't understand what this trial is about. She's been found responsible for the killings. That's not in question. The trial is about whether she was in a psychotic state at the time - due to unique way this state's laws work. If she was psychotic, she'd be found "not guilty via insanity", but she'll still be responsible for the killings and be locked up.

  The problem is that normally the burden is on the state to prove she did the murders, THEN the burden is on the defence to prove she's nuts. In Massachusetts, the burden is on the state to prove she's sane beyond reasonable doubt. She's going to be behind bars whatever the verdict is, she's not getting out, nor does she deserve to because she's dangerous either way.

  Well she has been determined to have caused the killings, whatever the jury's verdict. I've not been following the case but it sounds like they are bickering about whether she's not guilty by reason of insanity. So, from what i understand the jury are deciding if she goes to prison or if she goes to the loony bin. Whatever happens, she's going to get some hard time. And going to the nuthouse doesn't mean you get out quickly, it can actually be harder to get out.
